Rhythm Foundation turns the Miami Beach Bandshell into a backyard party straight out of Rio for Roda de Samba, with Soul Samba and an opening set from Marcello Bentine. Soul Samba is a Miami samba group whose seven members play classic samba grooves the traditional roda way, seated around one big table in the middle of the Bandshell while the crowd dances around them. Marcello Bentine has been a resident DJ at Dante's HiFi, the Wynwood vinyl listening bar, since 2021, and he runs a Brazilian music night at Barcana in Washington, DC. General admission is $13.21 with fees, and Miami Beach residents get in free with an RSVP and ID at the door.
