PIECES OF A DREAM

Dale Zine opens PIECES OF A DREAM, a solo show of paintings and sculptures by Em Aull, at its Design District shop, with the artist on hand for the opening reception. Aull works from his connections to music, art and motorsports, pulling fragments that do not obviously belong together into layered compositions full of detail and humor. The pieces read like a personal archive of things collected and remembered. He is originally from Indianapolis and now based in New York. Dale Zine is a small press and zine shop that runs readings, art shows and zine markets out of the space.
