LOVEisLOVE Miami Hip Hop Block Party

Sybarite Productions throws its 4th annual LOVEisLOVE Miami at Normandy Fountain as a block party celebrating the five elements of hip hop. Rich Medina, DJ LSOne, DJ Jarobi and DJ Kumi handle the music. Rich Medina curates the night for Dante's HiFi and DJ LSOne closes the block party, then Jarobi of A Tribe Called Quest and Kumi of Rum & Coke play the after party at Bob's Your Uncle across the street. Most of the night belongs to an all-styles dance battle with a cash prize plus dance performances, and battle sign-ups happen on site at the start. Graffiti artists paint with support from the Museum of Graffiti, MCs rock the block and vendors share knowledge.
