BLUPRNT by PeoplePlacesThingsMiami · Last updated: August 2026

What we collect

We collect your email address when you sign in or create an account. If you set up a profile, we store your display name and any social media handles you choose to add. We record events you save and interactions you make (such as ratings and comments) in order to power your personal schedule. We also collect anonymous analytics -- page views, event clicks, and saves -- to understand how the platform is being used. Any comments or ratings you submit are stored and associated with your account.

Information we collect in ticket transactions

When you purchase a ticket through BLUPRNT, we collect: your name and email address; payment information (processed securely by Stripe -- BLUPRNT does not store your full credit card number); the events you have purchased tickets for; and your order history. We share your name and email with the event organizer for the purpose of event check-in and communication about the event you purchased tickets for. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Tickets, QR codes, and check-in data

Every ticket you buy is issued with a unique QR code (a scan token) tied to your order. When you arrive at an event, the organizer or their door staff scan that QR code -- or enter the code manually -- to admit you. We record whether a ticket has been checked in, the time it was scanned, and which authorized staff member scanned it, so the same ticket cannot be used twice. This check-in record is visible to the organizer of that specific event and is retained with the order for the retention period described below. We do not use QR scans to track your location outside of the event you purchased a ticket for.

What organizers receive

Event organizers receive: your name, your email address, the ticket type and quantity purchased, and your check-in status for their event. Event organizers do NOT receive: your payment card details, your browsing history on BLUPRNT, or information about other events you have attended or purchased.

How we use it

Your email and profile data are used to provide your personal schedule, saved events list, and ticket purchase history. We send transactional email -- such as ticket confirmations with your QR codes -- to the address on your order. Social features -- including friend connections and "friends going" badges on events -- depend on the information you choose to share with other users. When organizers access analytics for their events, they see aggregate numbers only, never individual user data. We use anonymous usage data to improve the BLUPRNT platform over time.

What we don't do

We never sell your personal data. We do not track your physical location. We do not use third-party ad trackers, retargeting pixels, or behavioral advertising networks.

Data storage

Account data -- including your session, saved events, and profile -- is stored in your browser's localStorage and on our secure servers (hosted on Vercel with data in Supabase). Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized before being surfaced to anyone. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Dashboard → Settings → Danger Zone, or by emailing us at support@peopleplacesthingsmiami.com.

Deleting your account

When you delete your account, we permanently remove your profile and social data (friends, activity, saved events, comments, ratings, messages, and check-in history), and we delete your login. For legal, tax, and dispute-resolution reasons we are required to keep records of completed ticket transactions; those order and ticket records are retained but the personal details attached to them (your name and email) are anonymized. Events you created that have already sold tickets remain live so that ticket holders keep valid admission, but they are no longer associated with your account.

Data retention

We retain your ticket purchase data for 3 years after the event date for accounting, tax, and dispute resolution purposes. Account and profile data is retained until you request deletion.

Payment security

All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. BLUPRNT does not store, process, or have access to your full credit card information.

Cookies and local storage

We use localStorage for session persistence and to remember your saved events across visits. This is strictly functional -- we do not use third-party tracking cookies or set any cookies for advertising purposes.

Third-party services

Stripe handles payment processing for ticket purchases and organizer payouts. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment information. Google OAuth is used for sign-in. Transactional email is delivered through Resend. The platform is hosted on Vercel with data stored in Supabase.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of BLUPRNT after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
