Thanksgiving Roller Disco

Rhythm Foundation, the nonprofit that has presented international music since 1988 and runs the Miami Beach Bandshell for the city, rolls out a Thanksgiving Roller Disco at the Bandshell, with Lotusoph and Angie Antonela on deck and All Skates Go To Heaven back as skate hosts. Lotusoph is a Brazilian and Cuban DJ born and based in Miami who moves through melodic grooves, deep house, salsa and samba, and Angie Antonela is a Peruvian vinyl DJ whose sets dig into cumbia, boogie and leftfield disco. All Skates Go To Heaven started as an open call to skate during the 2020 lockdowns and now runs roller boogies, meetups and classes for every age and level. Bring your own skates or blades or rent a pair on site, and non-skaters can watch from the deck. Skate rentals are free for Miami Beach residents and $10 for everyone else.
