Analog Sounds, the crew behind curated listening sessions and research into analog sound and its history, brings Salsa y Sabor back to Conventillo, the cocktail bar on 79th Street in the Upper Eastside. Heisenlo goes back to back with Los Poderes, the duo of Ricoson and Areito Selector. The whole night runs on vinyl, from hard-hitting salsa brava and forgotten gems to Latin jazz, boogaloo, Latin funk and Afro-Caribbean rhythms. Their motto for the night is less noise, more salsa, and Heisenlo says to come early, stay late and bring los prohibidos.
