Vinyl selector Alelove takes the booth at Conventillo, the cocktail bar on 79th Street in the Upper Eastside, for a Friday night on records. His sets are genre-fluid and travel through funk, soul, house and psychedelic sounds, all of it played off wax. Conventillo books a different selector or band for every night of the week. The kitchen sends out fresh handmade pasta and pizza later in the night.
