The Bass opens its Art Week run of The Bass Dialogues with Ana Paula Ruiz Galindo and Mecky Reuss of Pedro y Juana, the Mexico City studio behind the walk-in installation now at the museum. Philippe Vergne, artistic director and chief curator of The Bass, moderates. The talk goes through the studio's custom furniture and lush visual environments, how Miami's subtropical landscape fed into the piece, and the ideas that took root in it. The museum frames it as a closer look at how the studio brings art, design and architecture together to change a space.
