Faena Art Music Series: Major Lazer

Faena Art, the nonprofit arts arm of the Faena District, brings Major Lazer to Faena Beach for the Art Week edition of the Faena Art Music Series, presented by Chase Sapphire Reserve. Major Lazer headlines and Richie Hell opens. Led by Diplo, Major Lazer has mixed dancehall, reggae, reggaeton and pop since its 2009 debut, and Lean On is its biggest record. Richie Hell is a Buenos Aires-born DJ, producer and record collector who moved to Miami in 2015 to run music at Faena, and his sets pull from psychedelic music, funk and percussion-heavy rhythms. The party happens inside Christopher Joshua Benton's A Lore Supreme, a partially buried mirrored sphere 27 feet tall whose speakers carry music and stories from Miami's African, Caribbean and Latin American communities. Presale general admission is sold out and individual tickets are $300.
