SaltBar Nights returns as a monthly last-Tuesday residency, with the Himalayan Salt Band bringing it to its new home at Conventillo. Born out of Miami's underground music scene, it is a gathering for musicians, artists, families, and anyone after something different from the usual night out. HSB blends jazz, psychedelic fusion, funk, soul, prog, and world music, leaning hard on improvisation and sharing the room with some of the city's most exciting emerging players. It runs at Conventillo's Upper Eastside spot with the kitchen and bar open, and walk-ins are always welcome. A different kind of Tuesday.
