Basel: SlapFunk

SlapFunk, the Dutch record label and party series, celebrates 15 years with a Jolene Basel 2026 night in the Jolene Sound Room basement for Miami Art Week. D'Julz, Isaac Carter, Ms. Mada and Tomas Station play. D'Julz is the French house producer who started Bass Culture at Paris's Rex Club in 1997, a night that broke Luciano and Loco Dice in the city. Isaac Carter is a London DJ and producer who runs the Ochi label and has released on Rhythm Section International. Ms. Mada is a Miami DJ who has opened and closed the Club Space Terrace for years, and Brooklyn-based Tomas Station is a fabric London resident who co-founded Bogotá's Downpitch Recordings. SlapFunk's sound runs on swinging drums and bass-heavy grooves across house, UK garage and breaks.
