Basel: AFTERJAM
Jolene Sound Room hosts AFTERJAM with Dutch house DJ Jamback on the Thursday of Jolene Basel, the Downtown basement club's run of seven straight nights for Miami Art Week. Jamback put out his first records on Mason Collective's Whippin label and on Airtime Records, and he plays the minimal and deep end of house. Jolene bills the night as house and tech house. Jolene is the basement dance room under Flagler Street that books house, disco and minimal DJs year round, and it runs a no-phones policy for the whole Basel week.
