Art Basel: AirFunk - Chez Damier & More

AirFunk, the Paris label run by Maxime dB, flies its party to Miami for Art Basel with a house night upstairs at Lion's Den, the vinyl lounge above Fooq's. The lineup is Chez Damier, Maxime dB, Adam Collins, Shaun Reeves, Lou Flores, and Ferny & Emma Ari San. Chez Damier co-founded the Prescription label with Ron Trent and shared the Saturday residency with Alton Miller at Detroit's Music Institute, one of the first clubs of the underground house movement. He also worked with Kevin Saunderson's KMS label in Detroit, and Can U Feel It was his 1992 hit. Maxime dB is a Paris record digger whose sets blend funk, electro and house. The room runs on a Danley sound system.
