Casa Raíz and AIA Miami put on The Art of Natural Design at Built Studios in Little River the night before Design Miami opens, an evening of talks on designing with nature for health and for a resilient Miami. Speakers are Betty Osceola, John Sofio, Angela Kyle, Kona Gray, Maria Cecilia Carcano, Meg Daly, Aaron DeMayo, Giovanna Araujo and Raymond Fort. Osceola of the Miccosukee Tribe opens with a fireside chat. Sofio of Built Inc, Kyle of Perkins&Will, Gray of EDSA and Carcano of Resilience & Vastu Wellness Design sit on the panel Rooted: Designing Spaces That Heal. Daly of The Underline, DeMayo of Future Vision Studios, Araujo of Primestor Development and Fort of Arquitectonica, who is still listed as pending, take Where Land Meets Sea: Designing a Resilient Miami.
