AfriKin Art Fair
AfriKin, the Miami nonprofit that calls itself the city's hub for contemporary African and diasporic art, opens the 12th annual AfriKin Art Fair at the Scott Galvin Community Center in North Miami, with public days every day from November 30 through December 6 for Miami Art Week and Art Basel Miami Beach. The fair brings curated presentations of contemporary African and diasporic artists, installations and performances, and talks on creativity, community and sustainability. AfriKin bills it as South Florida's top contemporary African art fair, and it opens before most of the Beach fairs and stays open the whole week. Parking at the community center is free.
