Supernatural Haus, the LGBTQ+ performance venue and members' social club, runs Superqueen every Thursday as a drag rave with a competition built in, and this week's theme is Monster High. Ariesela, the trans performer and Oolite Creator Award-winning producer who co-hosts Doll LinkUp, leads the drag show with Opal Am Rah from the Doll LinkUp cast and Persephone Von Lips, a punk monster queen who has toured as a backup dancer for Dorian Electra. Zac and Miss Purple Shampoo play. In the competition that follows, the crowd votes with drink tokens, one queen leaves with a cash prize, and the top two advance toward a monthly Superqueen residency.
