Bring Your Own Craft Night
Steamy Lit, the romance-only bookstore founded by Navy veteran Melissa Saavedra, hosts a bring-your-own-craft night at its Miami Springs shop. Bring whatever you're working on, from crochet, knitting and embroidery to scrapbooking, journaling, painting or jewelry, and the store sets out tables and seating so you can work alongside other readers. Steamy Lit started online in 2021 and opened South Florida's first romance-only bookstore in Deerfield Beach in 2023, with shelves that put Latino, LGBTQ+ and Black authors up front and book clubs like the Bad Bunny-inspired Debí Leer Más Libros.
