Local Pie, the Kendall strip-mall pizza counter, throws the Apple Party for National Apple Month to debut The Smitty, a pie it built with Lucas Smith and topped with goat cheese, crispy prosciutto, apples, arugula and hot honey. Ten percent of every Smitty sold goes to charity. Good Apple, the Miami-made juice brand Mateo Velayos and Camille von Simson launched in 2025, makes a special appearance with its apple juice, which is pressed from Honeycrisp, Pink Lady and Granny Smith apples with no added sugar, concentrate or preservatives.
