Marine Fonteyne: Embroidering Memories Workshop | Noche de Arte

collaboARTive's Noche de Arte, the Monday live art program at Gallery 100 in the InterContinental Miami, runs a second Embroidering Memories workshop with November artist in residence Marine Fonteyne. This hands-on evening of embroidery draws on her Sisterhood and Rescue series. Beginners are welcome, and stitchers from the first workshop can keep building on their pieces. Born in Brazil with Belgian roots, she prints photographs on archival paper and silk and layers them with hand embroidery, fiber and collage, and her work has been featured in Vogue. Her residency show, Reclaiming Memories, hangs in the gallery through November.
