Marine Fonteyne: Embroidering Memories Workshop | Noche de Arte

collaboARTive's Noche de Arte, the Monday live art program at Gallery 100 in the InterContinental Miami, hosts the first Embroidering Memories workshop with November artist in residence Marine Fonteyne. Bring a memory and leave with a stitch, as Marine teaches the techniques she has refined over more than 20 years of turning photographs into thread-woven stories. No experience is needed. Born in Brazil with Belgian roots, she prints photographs on archival paper and silk and layers them with hand embroidery, fiber and collage, and her work has been featured in Vogue. Her residency show, Reclaiming Memories, hangs in the gallery through November.
