Marine Fonteyne: Reclaiming Memories

collaboARTive opens its November Noche de Arte with a reception for Reclaiming Memories, the residency by photo-based multimedia artist Marine Fonteyne at Gallery 100. Fonteyne prints photographs on archival paper, silk and fabric, then works into them with hand embroidery, fiber, collage and installation, so a single image becomes a layered, textured piece. This opening is the first of four Mondays in the residency, with an embroidering memories workshop among the nights that follow. Guests meet Marine and see the new work up close.
