Books & Books and its Literary Foundation team up with Libro.fm for a Banned Books Week edition of The (Silent) Reading Party. Bring a book or grab one off the store's shelves, read in silence for 30 to 60 minutes, then talk it out over a glass of wine with prompts on censorship, speech and freedom of expression. Host Alyssa Expósito, a Miami native who runs social media for Books & Books and coordinates programs for its foundation, leads the conversation. Libro.fm sells audiobooks online and splits the profit with the independent bookstore each listener picks.
