Tropibass305, the Latin fusion crew of DJs Kumi, Illset and Methods, runs Por La Cultura Sessions at The Sylvester, built on the sounds that move Miami: salsa, dancehall, reggaeton and Latin funk. Expect salsa horns and clave running into dancehall riddims and dembow-driven reggaeton, with Latin funk breaks stitching the sets together. The Sylvester opened in 2019 in the old Bardot space, a retro living room of a bar with mismatched vintage furniture, an antique pool table, pinball and foosball, run by the team behind Beaker & Gray.
