Opening Reception: Dead Snow (Goasstejiegna) by Untitled Services

MAD Arts opens Dead Snow (Goasstejiegna), an interactive installation it commissioned from Stockholm creative studio Untitled Services, with designers Fredrik Forrest and Martin Löfqvist on hand for a meet and greet and questions. The work uses large-scale 3D scanning, machine learning and real-time technology to rebuild the Swedish Arctic as a space visitors can walk inside. Untitled Services describes it as a deeply personal piece that brings the silence and vastness of a remote Arctic landscape into South Florida heat.
