OnStage! Live En La Playa

Miami Beach's OnStage! program and Miami Jazz Booking bring Live En La Playa back for a second year at Lummus Park, a Hispanic Heritage Month concert on the sand that moved to this date because of weather. Spam Allstars headline with Tony & The Kings, and vinyl selectors Travis Acker, Danny Kokomo, Arun Brown and Lula Rios spin between sets. Spam Allstars, led by DJ Le Spam, mix turntables and electronics with Latin, funk, hip hop and dub, picked up a Latin Grammy nomination for Fuacata Live and hold residencies in Little Havana and Miami Beach. Tony & The Kings play boogaloo, Latin soul, son and Afro-funk on the Miami label Tiki Tumbao. Miami Is an Island runs a record fair of Latin American and diaspora vinyl, and Cut and Destroy leads a pin button station.
