MOAD at Miami Dade College pairs performance artist Smita Sen, whose solo show Embodied ran at MOCA North Miami, with Ressonnance for a night inside Abstraction as Legacy. Sen leads a tour of the paintings through the body, linking the work to her practice on how we store tension, memory and emotion. Then Ressonnance, the sound and wellness collective of YoungArts jazz trumpet alum Stéphane Clément and sonic architect Nicolaus Gelin, composes a live response to the room, and Sen guides guests through a closing performance built on breath and movement.
