Supernatural Haus hosts Love Note, an open mic run by Gerard Ortega, a classically trained pianist and opera tenor who came to Miami from New Orleans after Katrina and founded The Downtowner Concert Series for local singers. Bring an original song, poem, spoken word piece, monologue or movement piece, or come to listen. Ortega plays live piano through the night, with singers, dancers, drag, burlesque and surprise guests filling out the bill. Signing up gets you a one-day trial membership to Supernatural, a private members' club on NE 79th Street.
