Mama Tried, the 1970s-styled Downtown bar from Lost Boy Dry Goods owner Dan Binkiewicz, introduces Whiskey & Wax, a new night where DJ Kace and DJ Boe play nothing but vinyl. Jack Daniel's sponsors the launch. The bar opened in 2018 in the old Pub One space and calls itself an upscale dive. The bar's line for the night is no skips, just sips.
