Hedwig and the Angry Inch with John Cameron Mitchell
Hedwig and the Angry Inch with John Cameron Mitchell
The Parker in Fort Lauderdale screens Hedwig and the Angry Inch on its 25th anniversary tour, with John Cameron Mitchell there in person. Mitchell created the glam-rock opera, a musical turned film about a transgender singer chasing redemption after her rock-star ex steals her songs. He stays after the screening for a Q&A with stories from the production and a song or two, and he accepts the Miami Film Festival's Impact Award.
