João Brasil throws Fervor at 1-800-Lucky in Wynwood, a house and Brazilian funk night with Mary Zander alongside him and Élcio Gomes as special guest. Brasil is a Rio de Janeiro producer who pioneered mixing house with baile funk through his Rio Shock project, and he handled the music for the Rio 2016 Olympics opening ceremony. Mary Zander is a Rio DJ who works in house and tech house and folds Brazilian rhythms into her sets. The flyer's one rule is no phones, just fervor.
