WALLCAST Concert: Denève: Prokofiev's Violin

New World Symphony takes its concert outdoors for a WALLCAST at SoundScape Park, where the live symphonic performance plays on a 7,000-square-foot projection wall under the palms and the Art Deco skyline. Stéphane Denève conducts an all-Prokofiev program with violinist James Ehnes, who plays both of the composer's violin concertos, the pieces that bookend his 19-year exile from Russia. NWS conducting fellow Ziwei Ma leads the Symphony No. 1, the Classical, and the Suite from The Love for Three Oranges closes the program. Picnics are encouraged and pets are welcome.
