The Gator Pit is the weekly Tuesday cypher from 2nd Ave Cypher, a live freestyle circle that bills itself as Miami's number one freestyle hip-hop community. It runs in Wynwood every week, an open format where rappers step into the circle and trade bars off the top, no setlist and no headliner, just whoever pulls up ready to spit. The crew behind it, dirty5ive, has built it into a regular hang for the city's freestyle scene, part competition and part community. If you rhyme, you jump in.
