SHĀHERI

ZeyZey and Avenue Niel Music present SHĀHERI, a Los Angeles Persian psychedelic rock band led by composer, guitarist and singer Jonathan Shaheri. Shaheri grew up in LA hearing pre-revolution Persian artists like Kourosh Yaghmaei and Googoosh next to California rock and surf, and he worked in film and TV music before starting the band. Their debut album ROŸĀ, Persian for dreams, mixes Persian psych, funk and surf guitar with Latin rhythms and includes PERSIĀCUMBIĀ with Peruvian cumbia pioneers Los Mirlos. They play it as a five-piece on their 2027 tour. Early bird tickets are $29.25 and VIP is $52.85.
