Nightshift: The Urban Suite Queer Basel

She's Gotta Have It, a group of queer friends who build all-inclusive nights around music, art and self expression, brings Nightshift: The Urban Suite to Mangrove, the Jamaican bar and lounge behind Jrk! in Downtown, for a Queer Basel edition. Ariel J. headlines. The soundtrack moves across neo-soul, house and alternative hip-hop, and the crew names Kaytranada, Frank Ocean, Cleo Sol and Lucky Daye among its inspirations. They set it up as an intimate speakeasy-style lounge for queer professionals, creatives and artists. The dress code is cocktail or creative chic and strictly enforced, with no sandals or slides, designer included, and no athletic wear. Homophobia, transphobia, racism and any other hate will not be tolerated. The First 48 presale at $28.52 has ended and general admission is $33.85.
