Miami Book Fair Street Fair

Miami Book Fair, which Miami Dade College educators, independent booksellers and librarians started in 1984 as Books by the Bay, opens its Street Fair at the college's Wolfson Campus in Downtown. The Street Fair closes out an eight-day festival the fair calls the largest and longest-running literary festival in the country. Booksellers and exhibitors line the streets with food and music around them, and the fair keeps going through Sunday, November 22. Friday is free for everyone. Saturday or Sunday tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for teens, two-day passes are $18, $12 and $8, and kids 12 and under and Miami Dade College students, faculty and staff with ID get in free.
