Mama's Gun

ZeyZey brings UK soul band Mamas Gun to the Tima Disco room. The five-piece draws from the Black soul tradition and folds in jazz, funk, R&B and gospel, with warm grooves, rich keys and the voice of singer Platts. Their 2018 album Golden Days moved them toward deeper classic soul, and since then they have produced themselves and recorded live to analog tape. Their sixth album, DIG!, was cut live to 16-track tape at ATA Studios in Leeds, with Brian Jackson on the title track. The free RSVP is valid for guests 21 and over, and guests under 21 pay $20 at the door.
