Guided Tour of Historic Vizcaya Village

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens leads a guided walk through Vizcaya Village, the estate's own historic farm and village across South Miami Avenue from the Main House and formal gardens. Guides take you through the modernized Garage and the Superintendent's House and talk about the people who kept a Gilded Age estate running, then show the restoration underway on the last five original buildings of the Village, which Vizcaya plans to reopen for education and community programs. Vizcaya is a National Historic Landmark, and donations made at registration go to its preservation. The tour doesn't include the Main House and gardens, and guests can walk the Sunday farmers market next door afterward. Adults 13 and up are $8 with fees, kids 12 and under are free, and Vizcaya members get in free with their membership card.
